Namang Village Strengthens the Implementation of Village Statistics

The first coaching activity for Desa Cantik 2025 in Namang Village was held on Wednesday, 20 May 2025. The activity began with remarks from the Head of BPS-Statistics of Bangka Belitung Province, Mr. Toto Haryanto Silitonga, who expressed his appreciation to Namang Village for the various achievements that have been made. He also highlighted the potential of rice fields and pelawan forests as village assets that must be widely promoted.

Namang Village Head, Mr. Zaiwan, expressed his gratitude for the trust given to his village as a pilot village. He affirmed his commitment in fully supporting the Desa Cantik programme and utilising the village's potential for the welfare of the community. The natural potential of the village is considered a wealth that must be managed wisely to support data-driven development. The Namang Village Government is ready to carry out all stages of statistical guidance that have been designed.

In the presentation session, Dwi Nova Prihatmoko as the Desa Cantik coach explained the importance of data in village development. He also emphasised material related to the national statistical system, statistical organisers, generic statistical business process models, and One Data Indonesia. This activity was closed with a joint commitment to make data the basis of Namang Village development. In the future, the activity will continue with technical training, data collection, and periodic evaluation in order to realise an independent data-based village.
