Namang Village Optimizes Website for Data Dissemination

Coaching III Desa Cantik 2025 in Namang Village was held on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the Namang Village Office. This activity focused on the material “Updating Website” delivered by Yusril Dicky Khoridwan. This material discusses the basic concept of a website as a collection of digital pages that are connected and can be accessed via the internet with the help of a browser such as Chrome or Firefox. This understanding is important as a basis for managing village digital information.

Websites have various functions, ranging from information media, public services, to promotion and communication. In the context of Namang Village, the website is used to convey village information, promote local potential, and as a medium for documentation and digital archives. The utilization of this website is expected to increase transparency and openness of information to the village community and outside parties. In addition, the website can be a means of branding the village more broadly.

The importance of website maintenance was also explained, including maintaining the sustainability of the server and domain which is likened to the land and address, the home of the website. This activity was closed with a hands-on practice of updating website content, which provided technical experience to statistical agents in managing information independently. This coaching is a concrete step to support village digitalization and strengthen information technology literacy for village officials.
