Bangka Tengah, April 30, 2025  In order to improve the quality and understanding of data at the village level, Namang Village was designated as Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) by the BPS-Bangka Tengah Regency.

The socialization event was opened by Namang Village Head, H. Zaiwan, who expressed his gratitude for the designation of his village in the Desa Cantik program. He hopes that this program can improve the understanding of village officials in collecting and utilizing data for development policies.

The Regent of Central Bangka, Algafry Rahman, in his speech emphasized the importance of inter-stakeholder collaboration to achieve the success of the Desa Cinta Statistik program. He said the program is in line with President Prabowo's 6th Asta Cita on development from the village as an effort to achieve economic equality and eradicate poverty.

Acting Head of BPS-Bangka Tengah Regency, Wiji Nogroho, then delivered a socialization related to the background and objectives of the Desa Cantik program, namely so that the data collected in the village becomes more accurate and can be used as the basis for appropriate policies.

This program is expected to be an important foundation in encouraging data-driven development in Bangka Tengah Regency.
