On Thursday, 22 May 2025, the second coaching session of the Desa Cantik Program was held in Namang Village. The main focus in this session was the presentation of data in the form of tables, graphs, and infographics. The goal is that statistical agents can analyze village data more effectively and interestingly which can later be used for decision making.
Dwi Nova Prihatmoko as the beautiful village coach also explained various types of data presentation, such as one-way to three-way tables, as well as bar, line, circle, and map graphs. In addition, the importance of disseminating information through media such as websites, social media, and printed publications was also highlighted. The material is complemented by the concept of infographics, which combine visual elements and text to convey information in a brief but interesting manner. This is expected to improve data literacy among village officials.
The activity continued with a practical session guided by Sherin Bellavirginia, where statistical agents tried to process population data using Microsoft Excel. In addition, statistical agents were also introduced to the use of free design platforms such as Canva to create infographics. This hands-on practice provided technical understanding while encouraging creativity in the presentation of village data. With this training, it is hoped that Namang Village will be better prepared to present data that is informative, interesting and useful for the wider community.
