Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in September 2024 was 138.60 or an increase of 0.81 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.45 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.36 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 100.54; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 104.29; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 147.17; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 110.83; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 110.34 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 111.09 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 88.76.
In September 2024 there will be a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) by 0.50 percent which is caused by a decrease in the index in 7 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 3 expenditure groups experienced a decline and 1 other expenditure group experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in September 2024 was 135.18 or an increase of 0.40 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
