Abstract

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
NTP for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2024 was 137.48 or an increase of 0.37 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increasing by 0.57 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) also increased but was lower by 0.20 percent.
Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) was 101.78; Horticulture subsector (NTP-H) was 108.28; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) was 145.35; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 110.21; The Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 110.72 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 110.50 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) at 88.26.
In August 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.26 percent due to an increase in the index in 8 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 1 expenditure group experienced a decline and 2 other expenditure groups experienced no change in the index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2024 was 134.65 or an increase of 0.57 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
