  • In September 2022, the Combined 2 Cities in Bangka Belitung experienced inflation of 0.80 percent with a CPI of 113.78. The September 2022 calendar year inflation rate is 4.87 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (September 2022 to September 2021) is 6.67 percent.
  • The two CPI monitoring cities in the Bangka Belitung Islands province also experienced inflation, namely Pangkalpinang at 1.04 percent with a CPI of 112.68 and Tanjungpandan City by 0.40 percent with a CPI of 115.80.
  • This month's inflation occurred due to an increase in indexes in 8 expenditure groups, namely; clothing and footwear group by 0.09 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.16 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.13 percent; health group by 0.10 percent; transportation group by 6.35 percent; education group by 0.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 0.17 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.42 percent. Recreational, sports, and cultural groups are the only stable groups.
  • The inflation share of the Combined 2 Cities in Bangka Belitung in September 2022 was mainly contributed by gasoline, diesel, and lubricants/engine oil commodities. Meanwhile, the restraining rate of inflation was caused by the decline in the prices of air transport commodities, mackerel and yellowtail fish.
