Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2022 was recorded at 31.37 thousand people, a decrease of 35.62 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-May 2021), the flow of departing passengers has increased by 16.34 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2022 was recorded at 47.55 thousand people. The number rose 47.40 percent over the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-May 2021), the flow of incoming passengers has increased by 126.81 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in May 2022 was 1,613.46 thousand tons, an increase of 119.25 percent compared to the previous month which only reached 735.91 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during May 2022 was 245.72 thousand tons, a decrease of 30.90 percent compared to the previous month which reached 355.60 thousand tons.
The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in May 2022 was recorded at 96.57 thousand people, an increase of 30.31 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in May 2022 was 101.98 thousand people, an increase of 47.85 percent compared to the previous month.
