The Number Of Inter-Island Sea Transportation Passengers Departing In April 2022 Increased By 102.03 Percent And The Number Of Air Transportation Passengers Departing In March 2022 Increased By 16.29 Percent

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2022 was recorded at 48.76 thousand people, an increase of 102.03 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-April 2021), the flow of departing passengers also increased by 4.15 percent.

· The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in April 2022 was recorded at 32.80 thousand people. The number decreased by 2.62 percent compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period last year (January-April 2021), the flow of incoming passengers has increased by 129.09 percent.

·         The volume of goods loaded at the port in April 2022 was 735.19 thousand tons, an decrease of 30.02 percent compared to the previous month which was only 1,050.53 thousand tons.

·    The volume of goods unloaded during April 2022 was 355.55 thousand tons, an decrease of 26.61 percent compared to the previous month which was only 484.48 thousand tons.

· The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2022 was recorded at 74,11 thousand people, an increase of 16,29 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in April 2022 was 68.97 thousand people, an increase of 2,45 percent compared to the previous month.
