Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 was valued at US $ 73.3 million, down 22.55 percent compared to the export value of November 2018.
  • The value of tin exports rose 26.30 percent, while non-profit fell 70.56 percent (y-on-y). Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports fell by 28.90 percent. Tin exports fell 29.54 percent and non-export exports dropped 26.05 percent.
  • During January-November 2019, Singapore absorbed 50.64 percent (US $ 512.1 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 16.60 percent (US $ 40.4 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-November 2019 dominates at US $ 114.5 million or 47.04 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
    • B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
    The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2019 was US $ 1.45 million, down 76.39 percent compared to November 2018. Therefore, the January-November 2019 import became US $ 14.25 million.
  • A total of 65.90 percent of imports in January-November 2019 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to November 2019 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 78.81 percent (US $ 7.40 million).
  • In January-November 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 6.64 million (46.58 percent).
