Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
  • The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in April 2020 was valued at US $ 71.6 million, down 41.90 percent compared to the export value in April 2019.
  • The value of tin exports fell 49.96 percent, while non-profit rose 4.69 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports fell by 14.63 percent. Tin exports dropped 13.51 percent and non-export exports dropped 17.60 percent.
  • During January-April 2020, Singapore absorbed 25.41 percent (US $ 83.8 million) of tin exports, while Malaysia absorbed 23.09 percent (US $ 17.6 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-April 2020 dominated US $ 59.3 million or 78.03 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
  • The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in April 2020 was US $ 1.01 million, up 103.28 percent compared to April 2019. Thus, imports from January to April 2020 became US $ 4.10 million.
  • As many as 71.80 percent of imports in January-April 2020 were non-oil and gas.
  • Non-oil and gas imports from January to April 2020 were dominated by mineral fuels (HS 27) in the form of anthracite at 55.68 percent (US $ 1.64 million).
  • In January-April 2020, Vietnam became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 1.64 million (39.98 percent).
