Abstract

The export value of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in May 2024 was US$130.64 million, an increase of 8.55 percent compared to April 2024. Compared to the previous year (y on y), the export value decreased by 39.46 percent.
Tin exports in May 2024 will reach US$97.92 million. When compared to the previous year (y on y) the value fell by 45.17 percent.
Non-tin exports are dominated by animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15). In May 2024 the value will be US$9.84 million or 49.81 percent of the total non-tin exports of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province.
The import value of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in May 2024 is US$0.48 million. This value has increased significantly by 434.25 percent compared to April 2024.
In May 2024 there will be no oil and gas import activity. Non-oil and gas imports during January-May 2024 were dominated by mechanical machines/aircraft amounting to US$613.24 thousand.
In May 2024, the country of origin for most imports will be Malaysia.
