Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 was 4.61 percent, an increase of 0.16 percentage points against March 2022 and a decrease of 0.06 percentage points against September 2021.
The number of poor people in September 2022 amounted to 69.69 thousand people, an increase of 2.9 thousand people against March 2022 and a decrease of 0.01 thousand people against September 2021.
The percentage of the urban poor in March 2022 was 3.09 percent, rising to 3.48 percent in September 2022. Meanwhile, the percentage of the rural poor population in March 2022 amounted to 6.26 percent, falling to 6.13 percent in September 2022.
Compared to March 2022, the number of poor people in September 2022 in urban areas increased by 3.7 thousand people (from 26.48 thousand people in March 2022 to 30.21 thousand people in September 2022). Meanwhile, during the same period, the number of poor people in rural areas fell by 0.8 thousand people (from 40.30 thousand people in March 2022 to 39.48 thousand people in September 2022).
The Poverty Line in September 2022 was recorded at Rp 853,226/capita/month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of Rp 622,068/capita/month and the Non-Food Poverty Line of Rp 231,158/capita/month.
In September 2022, on average, poor households in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province had 5.20 members. Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province had 5.20 household members. Thus, the amount of the Poverty Line per poor household on average was of Rp 4,436,775,-/poor household/month.
