November 2022 Pangkalpinang City Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation of 6.36 percent

Abstract

In November 2022 Pangkalpinang City experienced year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 6.36 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.75. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Tanjung Selor at 9.20 percent with a CPI of 113.02 and the lowest was in Ternate at 3.26 percent with a CPI of 110.96.
Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by increases in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.53 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.81 percent; the housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel group of 6.96 percent; equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group of 3.25 percent; the health group by 0.97 percent; transportation group of 13.85 percent; the information, communication and financial services group by 0.25 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.66 percent; the education group by 0.20 percent; the group providing food and beverages/restaurants by 5.10 percent; as well as the personal care and other services group of 7.60 percent.
The November 2022 month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.19 percent and the November 2022 year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 5.03 percent.
The inflation rate y-on-y for the November 2022 energy component was 5.75 percent, m-to-m inflation was 0.03 percent, and y-to-d inflation was 1.50 percent. The inflation rate y-on-y for the November 2022 food ingredients component was 17.99 percent, m-to-m inflation was 0.02 percent, and y-to-d inflation was 17.63 percent.
