Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2022 was 124.16 or an increase of 3.36 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) which increased by 3.27 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which decreased by 0.09 percent.
NTP of the Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) of 91.74; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 111.74; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) of 128.78; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) of 106.30; The Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-P) was 108.90 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 109.54 and the Aquaculture Fisheries (NTPi) group at 90.03.
In October 2022 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.59 percent due to a decrease in the index in the food, beverage and tobacco group. Meanwhile, there were 8 expenditure groups that experienced an increase in index and 1 other expenditure group did not experience a change in index.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2022 was 113.60, an increase of 0.29 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
