Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT
The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2020 was valued at US $ 135.4 million, up 12.05 percent compared to the export value in February 2019.
  • The value of tin exports rose 10.22 percent and non-profit rose 20.30 percent (y-on-y).
  • Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 17.65 percent. Tin exports rose 1.44 percent and non-export exports rose 247.07 percent.
  • During January-February 2020, Singapore absorbed 28.76 percent (US $ 62.3 million) of tin exports, while Myanmar absorbed 24.42 percent (US $ 8.3 million) of non-lead exports.
  • The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-February 2020 dominated US $ 25.8 million or 76.07 percent of the total non-export exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
    • B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT
    The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2020 was US $ 1.77 million, up 39.76 percent compared to February 2019. Therefore, the January-February 2020 import became US $ 2.79 million.
  • As many as 70.15 percent of imports in January-February 2020 are non-oil and gas. Non-oil and gas imports from January to February 2020 were dominated by mineral fuels (HS 27) by 44.83 percent (US $ 0.88 million).
  • In January-February 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 0.99 million (35.45 percent).
