July 2019, Tanjungpandan Inflation of 1.23%, Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 147.46

·  In July 2019, Tanjungpandan City experienced inflation of 1.23 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 147.46

· Inflation occurred due to a increase in prices as indicated by the increases in the six expenditure group indices, namely the foodstuffs group by 3.85 percent and food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.36 percent. While the other four expenditure groups housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.01 percent; clothing group by 0.59 percent and health group by 0.17 percent, Recreational and sports education groups by 0.76 percent. In the other side, Transportation, Communication and  Financial services experienced deflation amount 0.03 percent.

·  The inflation rate for the July 2019 calendar year is 2.87 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (July 2019 to July 2018) is 3.30 percent.

·  The core component in July 2019 experienced inflation of 0.53 percent; volatile components experienced inflation of 4.05 percent; and the government regulated component experienced deflation of 0.02 percent.
