General Explanation
Consumer Tendency Index (CTI) is an indicator of current economic development generated by the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). ITK is an index measuring consumer perceptions of economic conditions in the quarter and a forecast for the coming quarter.
Since the first quarter of 2012 STK implementation expanded its scope by adding Belitung as STK sample area, in addition to Pangkalpinang and East Belitung province. On the implementation of the fourth quarter STK-2014, the number of samples enumerated as many as 136 households.
Consumer Economic Conditions Fourth Quarter 2014
Consumer Tendency Index (CTI) of Bangka Belitung in the fourth quarter 2014 amounted to 105.15, which means that the fourth quarter of 2014 according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions increased compared to the third quarter of 2014. Improving economic conditions consumers primarily driven by increased consumption
some commodities (108.64) and current income (index value of 102.13) and less influential association of inflation on household consumption (index value of 108.09).
Estimates of Consumer Economics Quarter-2015
ITK value Bangka Belitung in Quarter I-2015 is estimated at 104.98, meaning that economic conditions as perceived by consumers is expected to remain improved. Consumer economic conditions in the coming quarter is expected to increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2014, although the level of optimism is smaller than the previous quarter.
