Bangka Tengah, May 20, 2026 - BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency participated in a Coordination Meeting with the Bangka Tengah Regency Government. This meeting was a follow-up to the results of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) Coordination Meeting, which serves as the basis for policy formulation through several development indicators by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The meeting was attended by the Regional Secretary of Bangka Tengah Regency and several heads of regional government agencies in Bangka Tengah. This activity aimed to strengthen synergy and coordination in supporting the formulation of data-driven development policies aligned with the region’s socio-economic conditions. The indicators under discussion included the Human Development Index (HDI), poverty rate, unemployment rate, inflation rate, and economic growth.
During the meeting, BPS-Statistics presented updates on regional macroeconomic indicators along with trends illustrating the performance of each indicator. Discussions were conducted collaboratively to achieve a shared understanding of the region’s socio-economic conditions, while also identifying various challenges and potential areas of focus for future policy formulation.
Through this forum, it is hoped that stronger collaboration will be fostered between the local government and the BPS-Statistics in supporting the development of the Bangka Tengah region to be more effective.
