Central Bangka Statistics Agency Strengthens Synergy with Regional Governments

The Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Bangka Regency visited the Regent, Deputy Regent, and Regional Secretary of Central Bangka Regency on March 5, 2026. The visit aimed to convey several strategic agendas of BPS and strengthen coordination with the local government.

During the meeting, the Head of BPS Central Bangka presented several important programs and information, including the socialization of the implementation of the Economic Census, the presentation of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) figures for Central Bangka Regency for the fourth quarter of 2025, and the introduction of the Desa Cinta Statistik (Beautiful Village) program.

The socialization of the Economic Census was a key focus, as this activity is crucial for obtaining a comprehensive picture of the condition and development of the regional economic sector. The data generated from this census is expected to form the basis for formulating more targeted economic development policies.

Furthermore, BPS also presented the latest developments regarding the GRDP figures for Central Bangka Regency for the fourth quarter of 2025. This information provides an overview of the regional economic performance that can be used by the local government for evaluation and development planning.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Central Bangka Statistics Agency (BPS) also introduced the Desa Cinta Statistik (Beautiful Village) program. This program aims to improve statistical literacy at the village level and encourage villages to manage and utilize data optimally in development planning.
