BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency Holds FKP on Public Services and Evaluation of Publication

BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency held a Public Consultation Forum (FKP) on Public Service Standards as well as an Evaluation of the Preparation of the Bangka Tengah Regency in Figures 2025 Publication and Socialization of the 2026 Economic Census, on Wednesday (3/12/2025) at the Training Building of Bangka Tengah Regency. The event brought together representatives from regional government agencies, vertical institutions, academics, the media, and the public, as part of the BPS's commitment to strengthening service quality and opening up opportunities for public participation.

The FKP opened with a speech by Mr. Budi Siswandi, Head of the BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency, who emphasized the importance of public service providers implementing clear, measurable, and evaluable service standards. This is in line with the mandate of UU No. 25 Tahun 2009 concerning Public Services. On the same occasion, the Head of the Diskominfosta Bangka Tengah Regency also gave a speech on the importance of inter-agency collaboration in providing quality data.

In the main session, participants received a presentation on the Public Service Standards implemented by BPS-Statistics, ranging from data consultation mechanisms, requests for statistical activity recommendations, to publication services. Input from FKP participants is important material for improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and enhancing service quality in the future. On this occasion, the FKP Handover Report (BAST) was also signed as a form of transparency and accountability.

The event continued with a presentation on the Evaluation of the Compilation of Bangka Tengah Regency in Figures 2025, which contains various important indicators of regional development. Participants provided a number of inputs related to data completeness, consistency between OPDs, and efforts to strengthen coordination in the provision of sectoral data. In addition, BPS-Statistics also provided initial information regarding the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census, including the schedule, methodology, and the importance of support from all parties for the success of the largest economic data collection in Indonesia.

The forum concluded with an interactive discussion session, where participants could directly convey suggestions, questions, or evaluations to the BPS-Statistics team. Through the organization of this FKP, BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency reaffirmed its commitment to continue transforming, providing statistical services that are increasingly responsive, high-quality, and beneficial to all segments of society.
