BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency Holds Sectoral Statistical Coaching to Improve Data Quality

Wednesday, April 23, 2025 — BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency held a sectoral statistical coaching activity involving data officers from the Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, dan Statistik (Diskominfosta), as well as the Satu Data Indonesia (SDI) Secretariat from Bappelitbangda. This activity also presented two Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) priorites, namely the Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan and Dinas Perikanan.

The event was officially opened by the Acting Head of BPS-Statistics Bangka Tengah Regency, Mr. Wiji Nogroho, who represented Mr. Budi Siswandi. In his speech, he emphasized that data quality is the main foundation in development.

“Without quality data, planning will be fragile and policies risk not being on target. Therefore, synergy between agencies in ensuring data quality is very important,” said Mr. Wiji.

This coaching raised the theme “Data Quality Domain”, with the aim of increasing OPD understanding of the dimensions of quality in the preparation of sectoral statistical data. Through this activity, it is hoped that the quality of sectoral data in Central Bangka Regency will be better maintained, so that it can support the process of planning and making data-based policies that are right on target.
