Bangka Tengah economy will contract by 1.22 percent in the second quarter of 2024

This is the first time BPS has released quarterly economic growth data at the district/city level, providing a more detailed picture of economic development in the regions. Although BPS has not yet broken down the data to specific categories, the phenomena that occur in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province as a whole can provide a general picture of the situation in districts/cities, including Bangka Tengah.

Meanwhile, in terms of contribution to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province,  Bangka Tengah has a portion of 10.91 percent, ranking second from the bottom. The highest rank was achieved by Bangka Regency, which contributed 18.64 percent of the province's PDRB
